Please read carefully this information regarding cash deposits in Luxemburg. In order to comply with EU anti-money laundering regulations we are obliged to adher strictly to the below procedures. Thank you for your cooperation.

Step 1:

For all cash deposits you must first collect a letter of authorisation from WH SelfInvest. For this, please make an appointment in our offices.

Step 2:

Cash deposit: amounts < € 15.000
Amounts in this category can be deposited at the counter at BIL Bank. No appointment is necessary.

BIL Bank charges € 3 for this service. This amount will be deducted from your deposit.

Cash deposit: amounts between € 15.000 and € 250.000
Amounts in this category can be deposited with a BIL Bank client manager. An appointment with the bank is therefore necessary. Appointments are made via WH SelfInvest, at least 48 hours in advance. BIL Bank charges € 200 for this service. This amount will be deducted from your deposit.

Cash deposit: amounts > € 250.000

In short :

• In all cases your cash deposit can only be accepted if you have the following documentation on you:

1. A valid identity card or passport.
2. The letter of authorisation from WH SelfInvest, which you will come to collect in our offices.
3. For all amounts > € 15.000, written proof of origin of the funds.

• Please ask BIL to clearly mention your name as communication.
